The tech behind Haus Of Nails, for those of you that dont know im Sophie. A full-time business owner, mum of two children (fur children, gills and all). Almost wife to the hardest working man. I live in the beautiful Burnham-on-crouch Essex.
Qualified as a beauty therapist in 2008 and nail tech 2021. October 2023, I rightfully took my career completely independently. This meant I could be my own boss. I needed a happy, structured, work and life balance. I can fully say I now love my job and hobby. It was my right to move forward. Nothing stolen (LOL)
Starting again, I was lucky enough that my loyal clients chose to stick with me without prompting. This made me really believe in myself. Any fear and anxieties I had over working for myself had faded pretty quickly. And I can't thank these wonderful people enough for the love and support they have given me. I'm forever grateful. I have gained a whole bunch of new beautiful clients along the way and I can confidently say I have built beautiful friendships with every single one.
Anybody looking at going independent, I say, DO IT. Having sole control of YOUR business and keeping 100% of your ££ for your hard work is worth rocky road beforehand. Why contribute to someone else's ungrateful pocket. When you can put it in your own and reap the benefits.
